RV Accessories you can’t do without

When going out on an RV trip, most people get too excited to create a concrete list of the items they can’t do with while on the trip. While most accessories will depend upon the size of the crew and the RV, there are some standard accessories which you simply can’t forget about. These accessories are either to be put on daily use or they will find their uses every once and again.

Air Conditioners

RV air conditioners are a must-have whether you are in a cold place, a warm one or another climate. They play an important part in cleaning the air and keeping everyone cool. RVs have special air conditioners depending on their make, size and other factors.

Weather Radio

Your RV may have everything you need for the trip but if the weather is not on your side, then your trip will mostly be a waste of time. This little radio will help you stay ahead of the weather news to know which way to go for the most fun. There are some weather radios that double up as device chargers. These ones often use a winding mechanism to charge themselves or the devices you hook on them. They can also have small solar panels to derive power from the sun.

Folding Step Stool

The folding step stool has so many uses that they would need a whole article to list. However, you can use them to reach out for items high up in the cabinets, reach the roof of the RV to do some stuff, use it as a seat either inside or outside the RV and many other purposes. Whatever you do, don’t forget this one.

Insect Repellent

After setting yourself up for the night, the least you expect are insects biting you and even falling into your food and drinks. You will need an insect repellent to keep your peace during the night. For the biting little fellows, you will need to have a repellent lotion to apply to your exposed skin. For the flying ones, you can carry mosquito repellent candles. Their aroma will also spice up your evening mood.

Flameless Candles

Flameless candles are great for many reasons. First, they are safe to use compared to candles with flames as they cannot start fires of any kind. Secondly, they are operated by batteries which means that, if one runs out of power, you can easily juice it up and keep the fun rolling. Also, they can be easily used as decorative additions as they can be found in all colors, shapes and sizes. They are also not expensive with huge discount being found on bulk purchases.

Keep in mind that you are responsible for the fun you will have or the problems you will run into. Some preparations on your side are all you will be needing to make the trip an experience of a lifetime.
