What inspired you to start your blog?

A little over a year ago, some friends and I learned about just how much time, money and resources go into the manufacture and disposal of just one plastic disposable diaper. After learning that disposable diapers are the 3rd largest consumer item in landfills, we became determined to raise awareness across the country. By informing parents on just how bad plastic diapers are for our environment, as well as for our children, we hope to influence their decision-making process when selecting a diaper brand for their children. We are always thinking about a solution. We would love to find it!

What is your blog about?

We use eye-catching pop art comics to draw attention to the negative impact plastic disposable diapers have on our environment and children. Plastic disposable diapers have a multitude of negative effects on our land, sea, air, and even on our children’s health; if we continue using plastic products like diapers we will irreversibly damage our earth.

What are you passionate about?

We’re passionate about preserving the environment for future generations to come.

Where do you see your blog in five years?

We want this blog to be a wake-up call for parents, policy-makers and the diaper industry, alike. If we can make a change in even a handful of households, we’ll consider it a success. (Of course, we’d really love it if it could lead to the eradication of plastic in disposable diapers!) We are not only thinking about it; we are working on it… stay tuned.
