What inspired you to start your blog?

Growing up, my parents took us road trips every summer. The goal was to visit my family in Florida, but we would pick a different route each year and find different places we haven’t visited. That sparked the interest to travel. Fast forward 20 years later and I meet the man of my dreams, Brady. We soon became the Brady Bunch and had 2 boys 🙂 My husband had come from a family that loved to travel so we hit it off from the start. When it was time to start planning our road trip with our boys, I soon realized there wasn’t a lot resources for a family who doesn’t want to do the “norm.” Sure, we could visit the popular museum in town, but why? I wanted to find the hole in the wall places that no one ever talk about. I also wanted to find activities for two active boys. I didn’t want to say we visited a city just to post about it on Facebook. I wanted to experience what that city has to offer! I love watching the expressions on my kids face when they experience something new! I especially love making memories with my family!

What is your blog about?

My blog is about fun and unique activities/travels with a family of active boys. My two boys are 4 years apart and complete opposite. So, I knew if I wanted them to develop a love for travel, I had to find things to hold their interest.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about making memories with my family! I remember getting so excited when it was time to go on our yearly family vacation. We would wake up at 3 or 4am and pack the car. This was the only time we were allowed to eat junk food and drink coke. Every time I have a coke can, It reminds me of our family road trip and the excitement it came with it!

Where do you see your blog in five years?

My blog as of today specializes in travel around our great state of Texas. I’m hoping in five years we can expand and I can show my boys what travel outside the U.S. looks like. My youngest son, Daniel loves Lego architect series and every time he puts together a new building his first words are “When can we go visit the real one?”  His favorite one is the Trevi fountain. I’m hoping for his graduation present, we can take him to see it in person!
