What inspired you to start your blog?
I always loved writing but after having kids, kind of felt as though I had lost a part of myself…and as such, I turned to my creative outlet of writing and started a blog. I wanted to desperately reclaim a part of who I was and have something that was solely for myself. In essence I got tired of people asking me what i was up to and i could only muster what the kids were up to. I needed something to call my own and out of that need, my blog was born. It is my version of getting up, getting dressed and showing up everyday! When i was in college I spent many years writing for our school’s newspaper and thoroughly loved it. Although I graduated from college close to a decade ago, my love of writing and my ways with words still permeate every fiber of who I am.

What is your blog about?
My blog is about motherhood and all of the things that i consider part of “this beautiful life of ours.” I include all the things that make up our journey including homeschooling, DIY, Arts and Crafts Projects, raising children of faith, food, recipes, staying healthy,inspiration, product reviews and so much more. I post all the “feel good” stories because I aspire to inspire with stories of hope, simple living and gratitude.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about writing and seeing others succeed. I also love the outdoors and enjoy walks, hikes and just about anything outdoors once the weather permits. As a wife and mom, I’m passionate about spending time with my family and going out of my way to ensure that quality time is had and great memories made.

Where do you see your blog in five years?
In 5 years my blog will be a resource and a beacon of light to moms just like myself who want an outlet and I will also be launching my own social media and digital marketing business. I also want to be doing more sponsored posts on my blog and not just wait, but create freelance opportunities for myself and others.
