Our blogger of the week is super Mom Naomi from More With Four Blog! We know you will love her blog as much as we do! Let’s here a little more from Naomi.
As a mother of four, a child care manager and an early childhood educator for the past twenty years, kids are my life. I have a lot to say about children and parenting and I love connecting with other parents. My last little blessing came at age 41 and our children now range from age 1 – 12 years old so I can pretty much relate to any parent at any stage in their parenting journey. I started blogging as a way to share my experiences with others who could possibly relate.
My blog posts come from the heart as my thoughts just flow from my mind onto the page. Sometimes my posts are sentimental, sometimes they are funny, sometimes they are controversial, and sometimes they are informative. They are always honest and real. Someone once described my blog like sitting down for a coffee with a friend. I talk about raising boys, raising girls, babies, family lessons, and I share funny stories. I also host giveaways and do product reviews. I am a contributor for three other websites.
Parenting isn’t easy. I have a degree in Child Studies and a lot of experience with children, but I still feel like I don’t know what I am doing some days. I want parents to stop beating themselves up. I want other mothers like me to stop feeling the mom guilt and know that there are others out there who feel the exact same way. I want others to be able to relate to my blog posts and feel better knowing that none of us are perfect. We are all in this together. We all just need to keep calm and parent on.
I can’t believe how fast my blog took off in only a matter of months. I am excited to see where it will go. I would love to publish a book eventually. No matter what happens, I know I am having fun blogging in the meantime and my kids will be able to read about our crazy life for years to come!
