How did you come up with the concept of Peekabi?
Peekabi was inspired by a real-life family experience. I had gifted a traditional bed bumper to my brother for his toddler, thinking it would help keep his child safe during sleep. After using it, he shared that the bumper didn’t stay in place during the night, often slipped, and felt bulky and inconvenient to manage.
That feedback stayed with me. I began researching existing bed bumper designs online and realized that many parents were facing the same challenges—products that shifted during sleep or lacked secure positioning. That’s when I saw an opportunity to improve the design.

In fact, we delayed the launch of Peekabi by nearly four months because we wanted to perfect the fabric and ensure it provided the right amount of friction to help the bumper stay securely in place throughout the night. For us, that extra time was worth it to deliver the quality and reliability families deserve.
Can you tell parents how easy it is to put the bumper on a bed.
We designed the bumper to make installation simple and stress-free for busy parents. Setting it up usually takes just a few minutes. Parents simply place the bumper along the edge of the mattress, secure the adjustable straps underneath, and cover everything with a fitted sheet—no tools or complicated steps required.
One important thing to know is that, like most foam products, Peekabi may take 24 to 48 hours to fully expand and take its proper shape after unpacking. Once expanded, parents can use the adjustable elastic straps to customize the fit based on their mattress size. The tri-slide adjuster allows them to tighten or loosen the elastic as needed, helping create a more locked and secure position for the bumper.
