Two years ago, I wanted to change the face of parenting. I wanted to help those Mompreneurs and Dadpreneurs achieve success with their respective businesses. I wanted to give them a platform to show off their fabulous products. I wanted the parents and parents to be, struggling with fertility, to have a website that could give them updated information and resources from around the world, so they can make informed decisions. I wanted to tell parents that they are doing a good job and give them a positive community where they feel safe to ask questions. We would talk about the topics that others are afraid to. Miscarriage, bullying and fear are topics we never shied away from. In retrospect, I wanted to celebrate the success of parents, guardians and grandparents. The Baby Spot was born two years ago and now we are officially a “toddler”. It takes a community to raise a child and I thank each one of you for letting my magazine be a part of it.
I thank the writers, experts, celebrities and parents alike, giving their information, rants, raves and resources and giving a voice to so many important topics.
I want to encourage those parents who seek out a business idea to continue to reach out to our community. We have to help each other.
I am blessed to have this unique experience of global parenting. From style trends to fertility breakthroughs, from the latest and greatest toys and products to forging friendships with the people we work with, I am thankful.
