My 3 year old son has really taken to using apps on our phones and on our tablet. We always try to keep educational games, movies and music on our devices so that he is exposed to age appropriate material. What I love about the Baby’s Brilliant App is the diversity of music and videos that are both educational and entertaining for young children.
With the large variety of music, which includes traditional children songs, many lullabies, religious music and songs in Spanish, any family can benefit from this large selection. Our family finds great importance in learning different languages since our son communicates in another language with his grandparents; this feature includes cultural options that many apps do not offer.
The movies feature of this app is also as diverse as the music feature. It includes movies in both Spanish and Chinese. Our current favourite movie is the Alphabet. My son has really taken an interest lately in numbers and letter, and he absolutely loves watching this video over and over again.
Finally, my favourite part of this whole app is the nightlight feature. My families over the past couple of years have done a lot of road trips and I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to using this app on our next trip. The nightlight feature illuminates your child’s room, with just enough brightness and soothing images to allow your child to fall asleep.
