Tell us what made you want to blog?

I had postnatal depression pretty shortly after having Isabelle, and I never really heard much about it, so I wanted that to change. I also really wanted to write it out and put it out there. So I started this blog to get everything out in the open, and I guess I just carried on writing.

What is your blog about?

It’s mostly about my experiences becoming a dad for the first time. From the postnatal depression to how things are going these days. There’s also advice on what I’ve learned so far, and then research so it’s not all just about my opinions.

Where do you see your blog in five years?

Mostly I just hope that I’ll still be writing. I try to write mostly for my own enjoyment, so as long as I enjoy it then I’ll happily continue. Other than that, I hope to keep growing and have a small voice in the parenting community. To take my blog to a publication level and get paid to write in magazines. Hopefully this can all lead to some money, which I will save for Isabelle in her ISA.
