Our blogger of the week is Tanya from Seeme and Liz. Named lovingly after her little one’s stuffed animals, Seeme and Liz is a fantastic blog and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Tanya was a Speech Language Pathologist and a Mother of two. After her son was born, Tanya was more passionate about sharing her knowledge about speech and language development, child development and parenting tips and tricks with others. Soon after, Seeme and Liz was born! Tanya is also an Independent Certified Instructor with The Baby Signs Program. She teaches Baby sign language classes in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge area in Ontario, Canada. The classes range for babies between four and twenty four months.
This Canadian blogger has every insightful post we could think of! Have you ever wondered, what was better, preschool or daycare? Tanya has a great post about the subject. We also love her post about the top learning toys, because we are always on the search for what our readers are looking for to stimulate their children.
Seeme and Liz is a perfect blog to help parents, caregivers and educators. It’s fun, personable and you walk away learning something from every post. New and seasoned parents alike will enjoy everything that is Seeme and Liz!
This blog is definitely on our 2016 must read Blog list! Make it on your list too.
My name is Tanya (Thibodeau) and I am a former Speech-Language Pathologist. I am also a wife and mother of 2 (6 year old son and 8 year old daughter). I realized shortly after my son was born that I was no longer passionate about practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist; however, I still really enjoy sharing my knowledge of speech and language development, child development and parenting tips and tricks with others.
This is what led me to start Seeme and Liz (named after my children’s favourite stuffed animals). Seeme and Liz is dedicated to helping parents, caregivers and educators encourage language and learning through play! I believe that play is a child’s job and learning through play builds the foundation of skills needed later on in life.
I am also an Independent Certified Instructor with The Baby Signs Program. I teach baby sign language classes in the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge area (Ontario) for babies and toddlers ages 4-24 months.
